It was found that a large majority of lung cancer patients surveyed reported experiencing scanxiety, with no significant differences in differing type of lung cancer, time since diagnosis, current stage, or scan frequency.
Assessing needs of men following prostate cancer treatment: An exploration of treatment regret
Findings from the study show that patients who are comfortable discussing all aspects of their situation with their healthcare professional report little to no treatment regret compared to all other respondents; supporting a correlation between treatment regret and relationship with healthcare professionals.
Gender disparities in sexual side effect discussions among healthcare professionals and bladder cancer patients
The results of the study displayed that of the respondents with bladder cancer who underwent surgery (n=312), 24% experienced sexual side effects and discussions regarding potential side effects on sex with an HCP occurred more frequently with male patients compared to female patients (n=309).
